The CEO of MfgVision, Ltd, Mr. John O’donnell, paid a visit to Bohol on December 2 - 5, 2009 and met with Auza.Net technology consultant Jerome Auza and his team of software developers. Mr. Auza leads the local team in developing a specialized software that helps semiconductor product engineers analyze large amounts of data. The series of meetings with Mr. O’donnell included discussions on expansion plans, manpower hiring and the establishment of MfgVision Philippines.

Mr. O’donnell expressed his appreciation of skills and capabilities of the software developers who graduated from local universities and colleges. He said that they are as good as the software developers in other countries. The features developed in 2009 for MfgVision’s flagship yield analysis product called FloorVision has helped win contracts from large semiconductor companies in the US and UK. Sales are expected to at least double in 2010 and in the first quarter of 2010, MfgVision Philippines will hire three software technicians and technical support staff to help support the growth. Additional software developers are expected to be needed in the second quarter.

MfgVision will also formalize its quality assurance or QA department that will be supervised by Ms. Chylene Pacatang. Ms. Pacatang was one of the pioneers of the local team and started out as an on-the-job trainee for Auza.Net and is now a senior engineer of the company. The QA department will help ensure that the product will always be robust and free of known defects when released to the customer.

Mr. O’donnell will be in Taiwan on December 7-9 to meet with at least seven companies, all potential customers of the company in 2010.

MfgVision is a leading provider of Enterprise Yield Management and STDF Data Analysis tools for Semiconductor Companies. More information about the company is found on its website www.mfgvision.com.
