On December 3-4, 2009, the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISA) recently held their Table Tennis Tournament at the K of C Recreation Center. The event started on the afternoon of December 3 at 1:30 pm - 9:00 pm, and continued the next day at 9:00 am -12:00 nn.

The participating teams were: Bohol, Cebu, Dumaguete, States Colleges Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA), University of San Jose Recolletos, Cebu Normal University, Silliman University, University of Cebu, Holy Name University, and PMI.

The overall champions for the girls division were Cebu, with Bohol and SCUAA in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. However, for the boys division, due to a still unmade decision regarding the Cebu team players’ situation – the 1st and 2nd place is yet to be announced. The aforementioned positions is to be decided between Cebu and Bohol, with Dumaguete in 3rd place.

The K of C Recreation Center will start to hold formal table tennis training sessions in January 2010 with former national players as instructors. For inquiries, please contact Teresa at 5018459.
