‘Pamilacan Dolphin and Whale’ goes online!

September 6th, 2009 by anyajulia

The Pamilacan Island Dolphin and Whale Watching Tours (PIDWWT) is now online at www.pamilacandolphinandwhale.com. This is a project jointly developed by Auza.net and the PIDWWT.

Pamilacan Island Dolphin and Whale Watching Tours is primarily an eco tourism product, established by Mr. Joselino “Jojo” S. Baritua, to market the dolphin and whale watching in the province of Bohol and the Philippines. Its aim is to provide a viable alternative livelihood to the families affected by the government banned on the hunting and trade of dolphins, whales and recently the ban on whale sharks and manta rays.

Former hunters of the aforementioned animals, now function as spotters and local guides for the dolphin and whale watching.
Currently, the website contains information on its history, its tour and packages, and gallery of the said famous animals.
