Consumer Watch Bohol, an advocacy group promoting consumer rights and responsibilities, recently launched its Text Hotline 09212413643. Consumers may now text complaints, comments and suggestions on products and services of various establishments.
Consumers are advised to save this number on their mobile phones and immediately send text messages about issues they encounter while dealing with service providers. The text messages are stored in the text hotline system and are reviewed by the advocacy group on a monthly basis. Based on the frequency of complaints, the group will take action to help resolve the issue by initiating dialogues with the service provider.
