June 21st, 2009 by admin

Raynetworks, Inc. (RNI), together with its exclusive partner in Bohol, Auza.Net launched new wireless network devices on June 20, 2009 at The Buzzz Cafe in Island City Mall.  Juner Yaneza, Managing Director of RNI, said that these devices will enable service providers like Auza.Net to deploy wireless networks at a fraction of the cost of traditional devices while ensuring reliability stability of service.

The devices presented during the launching include Skypilot Connector-Mini which is a client premises equipment or CPE that is one third of the cost of standard Skypilot Connector and is ideal for shorter links to a Skypilot Gateway or Extender.  The Ubiquiti Networks Nano Station 2 enables outdoor WiFi zones at significantly lower cost compared to other outdoor devices.  The Ruckus Wireless WiFi Access Points, on the other hand, is ideal for indoor locations and is optimized to take advantage of multipath signals to ensure low latency and stable WiFi connections.

Jerome Auza, Technology Consultant of Auza.Net, said that the new devices will be deployed in the next several weeks at various locations around Tagbilaran, Panglao, Dauis, Maribojoc, Baclayon and Albur.  The devices will also enable deployment of cost effective private networks for establishments needing to interconnect multiple branches.
