By means of Google Apps, communication has never been easier for Boholanos worldwide. It enables several collaboration features like chat (Google Talk), shared documents (Google Docs) and email with at least 7GB of space.

With Google Talk of course, you are able to chat your family and friends that are online; while email allows you to send messages to your loved ones. But the best feature of Bohol.Asia is the Google Docs which allows you to share from documents to spreadsheets, and from presentations to forms. This makes reunion planning for a family get-together a lot easier since documents are shared and members are assured that the document they see is the latest version.

A preview of the online portal may be viewed at http://home.bohol.asia. Now you need to invite your friends to join you at Bohol.Asia so you can collaborate and communicate with you. Tell them to send email to accounts@bohol.asia to get their own accounts.

Another way of communicating your Christmas greetings for your loved ones is through www.dyrdam.com. It is the website for the online broadcast of the Bohol’s local radio station, DYRD-AM. Instead of communicating your Christmas greetings by means of telephone, which might even be costly depending on your location, you can now greet them online. Through the greeting section of the website, you can now greet your family & friends wherever you may be.

To post a greeting on the website, register first and provide the necessary information. An email, with your username and password for log in purposes, will then be sent to the email ad you specified when you registered. With the log in details sent to you, log in. Click on the Greet Someone in Bohol in the Category Section, then click on Christmas Greetings 2008!, write your greeting in the space provided and submit. It’s as easy as that.
